The IFKF's Mission
is to foster international collaboration and exchange of ideas between local kidney foundations and not for profit organisations, to enable and help empower, local IFKF Member kidney organisations to improve the health, well being and the quality of life of all individuals at threat from kidney disease.

Our IFKF family team is a strong force to bring a global focus to the prevention and treatment of kidney disease - its Council of Governors now lists 65 Members. Members represent kidney related organisation - kidney foundations, patient associations, kidney community and advocacy groups. Additionally, various associate members support our IFKF President and the Board in its work.

With pleasure we can announce that Laszlo Rosivall and his team, after a lot of preparation and hard work, have now launched the official website for the 2012 IFKF Annual Meeting in beautiful Budapest, August 22 - 25.

On the site you will find the very interesting program, forms for registration and accommodation, and other relevant information to start scheduling your trip. We hope to welcome you in August, often one of the nicest periods during the European summer.

As published in the President's October Newsletter the dates for the 2012 Annual Meeting in Budapest are 22 – 25 August, 2012. The Program Committee members under the leadership of Lazslo Rosivall and Guillermo Garcia Garcia are working with great dedication to complete an interesting program for IFKF members and other participants as soon as possible. A draft program will be published on this website as soon as it is ready.
